South Australian food icons Emmaline’s and Beerenberg have this month launched a partnership first, with the national release of a limited-edition raspberry jam tart.

The much-loved Emmaline’s range, which is stocked nationally, forms part of Cultivate Food and Beverage's stable of brands whilst Beerenberg remains one of the most recognised labels within the Australian food industry.

Bedford Enterprises Chief Operating Officer Sam Hunter said Cultivate, a Bedford backed social enterprise, is thrilled to bring this partnership with Beerenberg to life through the Emmaline’s brand.

“The partnership with Beerenberg represents an exciting first for Cultivate as we continue to seek new opportunities to expand the Emmaline’s range nationally and invest in product development,” he said.

“Cultivate’s head of product development, renowned Chef Tony Carroll worked closely with the Beerenberg team to create the raspberry tarts which are being produced and packaged on-site at our Brooklyn Park facility in South Australia.”

Cultivate acquired Emmaline’s earlier this year as part of its purchase of Adelaide Hills Foods. The acquisition boosted Cultivate's workforce by over 70 employees and formed part of Bedford’s commitment to provide greater opportunities for people experiencing barriers to work under the organisation’s innovative social enterprise business model.

This partnership brings new opportunities for our aspiring young chefs at Cultivate, extending their learning and building new skills.

Beerenberg Executive Director – Brand and Tourism, Sally Paech said they are delighted to partner with Cultivate and the Emmaline’s brand to deliver a unique product which uses their 100% Australian grown raspberry jam.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with fellow South Australian brand, Emmaline’s, to deliver a delicious new product which uses our premium and much-loved raspberry jam.”

“The first-of-its-kind raspberry tarts have a buttery shortcrust pastry case and are filled with Beerenberg’s famous Raspberry Jam, made from top notch fruit. We've searched the country for the very best raspberries Australia has to offer, to make a raspberry jam we're proud to put our name on.”

The raspberry jam tarts will be sold in packs of six and are currently available in selected Foodland Stores in South Australia and across independent retail stockists nationally.
