Cultivate Food and Beverage has partnered with leading regional accommodation company G’day Group to supply new culinary offerings at its resort properties in the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
Apprentices and chefs from Cultivate will cook a range of ready-to-eat and heat and serve meals and snacks designed to complement the existing range for retail outlets and on-site restaurants at Discovery Resorts – Kings Canyon in the NT and El Questro Station and El Questro Emma Gorge in WA’s Kimberley Region. As part of the partnership, Cultivate will continue to engage with G’day Group on menu design and options for on-site restaurants and retail outlets.
“We are excited to be working with the incredible team at Cultivate to offer an expanded range of food options across our remote properties, providing our guests with more options for meals and snacks they can grab on the go before heading to out explore the surrounding landscapes or a quick and delicious meal option after a long day of adventuring,” said G’day Group Chief Operations Officer Matt Lang.
“Importantly, as we continue to focus on working with suppliers that align with our social responsibility objectives, we are scaling social impact through the creation of jobs for some of our country’s future chefs, many of whom have experienced barriers to employment.”
Cultivate staff will also visit Discovery Resorts – Kings Canyon and El Questro to meet with on-site kitchen teams and management to tailor bespoke food and beverage offerings and innovative menu design.
Travis Kerkman, Cultivate Food and Beverage General Manager is equally thrilled with the partnership with G’day Group, explaining that Cultivate relies on like-minded partners who want to quality food and beverage products, whilst feeding their appetite for social good.
